The Barbarians annual Stair-a-thon is back again, this time we’re going bigger and better than ever!
We’re climbing the stairs from sunrise to sunset over TWO days for mental well-being and suicide prevention.
Funds raised will be put toward initiatives focused on men’s mental health, youth and adolescent mental health, and supporting our rural communities. We continue to partner with organisations such as A Stitch In Time, Happiness Co, and More Than Conquerors, who help us deliver these workshops and events in the community.
From 6am to 6pm we will have teams of 6 running the stairs at Stirling Bridge in East Fremantle (Bottom of stairs is near the Left Bank, top of stairs is near Canning/Stirling Hwy intersection opposite the Tradewinds). A new team sets off at the top of every hour for one hour. You can go as fast or as slow as you like – the only requirement is that there is at least one team member on the stairs at all times.
Check our Facebook page for the lists of teams and their timeslots then donate to your favourite, and come down on the day to support your crew!
Last year we raised over $26,000! And with your support, we can do it again.
